February 26, 2015 - Center Elementary recently hosted a Math-A-Thon. St. Jude Math-A-Thon is a school based fundraiser that benefits St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Since 1962, St. Jude has treated children who are battling cancer and other deadly diseases, and no family ever receives a bill from St. Jude.
Center Elementary had 57 students that participated this year. They are proud to announce that the total raised is $4410.82. Mrs. Inez Hughes coordinated the event and says, "Thanks to all who donated and supported our CES students as well as the children of St. Jude."
