Center HS Fights Hunger with "One Box Challenge" for National FFA Week

March 3, 2026 - During National FFA Week, Center FFA hosted a “One Box Challenge” food drive to help fight hunger in Shelby County. Organizations and classes across the high school campus were challenged to fill just one box with donated food items — and the response was incredible!

In total, 213 pounds of food were collected to support families in need. Mrs. Fausett’s culinary arts classes donated the most items and earned the top spot in the challenge.

In addition to FFA and culinary arts, participants included the National Honor Society, life skills students, and the CHS main office staff. All donations were delivered to Shelby County Outreach.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making a difference in our community!
