May 11, 2018 - A Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees of Center ISD will be held May 14, 2018, beginning at 8pm in the Center Independent School District Administration Boardroom 107 PR 605 Center, TX 75935. The subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are listed below.

2. Consideration and Board Action to Accept the Resignation of A Member of the Board of Trustees
3. Executive Session
3.1. District Employees and Officers: Texas Gov't Code §551.071, §551.072, §551.129 and §551.074
3.1.1. Employment of Personnel
3.1.2. §551.074 Deliberate the appointment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee; or hear a complaint or charge against an officer or employee: "Discussion only of the qualifications required for appointment and the capability, competence and suitability of candidates for appointment to the vacant Trustee position".
3.1.3. §551.072 Deliberation of the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property if deliberation in an open meeting would have a detrimental effect on the position of the governmental body in negotiations with a third person.
3.1.4. §551.071 Private consultation with the Board's attorney when the governmental body seeks the advice of its attorney about pending or contemplated litigation or a settlement offer, or on a matter in which the duty of counsel to his client, under the Code of Professional Responsibility of the State Board of Texas clearly conflicts with the Act.
3.1.5. §551.129 A government body may use a telephone conference call, video conference call, or communications over the internet to conduct a public consultation with its attorney in an open meeting of the governmental body or a private consultation with its attorney in a closed meeting of the governmental body.
