August 31, 2018 - I hope this message finds you well and the first days of school are full of wonder and have occurred without incident as we all embark on a new year. The district's focus is on literacy and academic growth for every student. In our mission, we recognize that effective communication can lead to a more transparent and successful school year. As such, I want to personally draw your attention to an important tool, the txConnect Parent Portal, that is available to you in order for you to keep track of your student's progress.
The txConnect Parent Portal provides you access to your child's grades, attendance, and schedules to name a few. Additionally, you can customize your portal to alert you when new information is available. If you have not already done so, please visit the txConnect Parent Portal website to register at https://txsuite05.txeis.net/tc210901/Login.aspx or visit the district's website under the Parent & Student Resources drop down bar. To register you will need your Student Portal ID which can be provided by your child's campus. You will notice on the registration page that a Portal Mobile Site is available as well.
I strongly encourage you to access the txConnect Parent Portal. It is important to be notified of your child's progress. It is a district expectation that new grades/information will be uploaded at least once a week. For questions, the campus phone numbers are listed below.

Como tal, quiero llamar su atención sobre una herramienta importante, el Portal para padres de txConnect (txConnect Parent Portal), que está disponible para que pueda seguir el progreso de su estudiante.
El portal para padres txConnect le brinda acceso a las calificaciones, asistencia y horarios de su hijo, por nombrar algunos. Además, puede personalizar su portal para que le avise cuando haya nueva información disponible. Si aún no lo ha hecho, visite el sitio web de txConnect Parent Portal para registrarse en https://txsuite05.txels.net/tc210901/Login.aspx o visite el sitio web del distrito bajo Recursos para Padre y Estudiante barra desplegable Para registrarse, necesitará su ID del Portal del Estudiante que puede ser proporcionada por el campus de su hijo(a). Notará en la página de registro que también está disponible un sitio Portal Mobile.
Le recomiendo que acceda al Portal para Padres de txConnect. Es importante ser notificado del progreso de su hijo.
