January 17, 2025 - Christina Smith, Center Middle School Band Director, was recognized January 15, 2025, at the National Board Certified Teacher Luncheon and Pinning Ceremony. This achievement recognizes her dedication, hard work, and profound impact on her students and the school community.
According to the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards website, National Board Certification is the most respected professional certification available in education and provides numerous benefits to teachers, students and schools. It was designed to develop, retain and recognize accomplished teachers and to generate ongoing improvement in schools nationwide.
