March 29, 2016 - CHS UIL and Theatre announce the Spring Coffee House Performances tonight, March 29th at 6:30 on the stage of the CHS Auditorium. The Coffee House is an intimate evening of fine art that features poetry/prose, acoustic music, and theatre, all in coffee house style. The prose/poetry are CHS UIL district competitors sharpening their skills for contest. It's bare-bones art without all the frills.
The audience will be onstage with the performers with the curtain closed behind them, creating an intimate environment for the performances. Seating capacity in this venue is maximum of 90. Warm drinks and desserts will be sold for a dollar, admission costs adults $5 and students $3. The subject matter of the competition prose and poetry is designed for adults and young adults.
