April 27, 2026 - The City Council of Joaquin will meet for a special called meeting on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 4pm at the old Joaquin Fire Station located at 130 Steve Hughes Drive, Joaquin, Texas.

5. Open Forum: Opportunity for citizens to speak on non-agenda items. Submission of a form to the City Secretary before the meeting is required. Comments are limited to 3 minutes per person. The Council is prohibited from discussing, deliberating, or making decisions on Open Forum topics (Texas Open Meetings Act).
6. Discussion and possible action to adopt a Resolution for a water conservation plan and a drought contingency plan.
The Council reserves the right to retire into executive session concerning any of the items fisted on this agenda whenever it is considered necessary and is legally justified under the Open Meetings Act. The agenda is posted as required under Government Code Section 551.041.
