City of Joaquin Governing Body Notice of Meeting, Oct. 18 Agenda

January 12, 2023 - The City Council of Joaquin will meet for a Regular Scheduled Council Meeting on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 6 p.m. at the Joaquin City Hall located at 124 N. Preston Street, Joaquin, Texas and Facebook live at https://www.facebook.com/CityofJoaquin.

The following items are on the agenda for appropriate action:

Discuss and take action: Discuss and take possible action on drilling a new water well for the City of Joaquin and discuss funding options, and cost sharing with local municipalities and possibly appointing a committee to gather information regarding the future water needs of our portion of Shelby County.

12. Discuss and take action: Discuss and consider Goff & Herrington, P.C. to complete Audit for Fiscal Year ending September 30, 2022.

14. Discuss and take action: Discuss and take action on approving proposal from Bovey & Cochran PLLC for legal services.

15. Discuss and take action: Discuss and take action on changing Casey Davis to Casey Anderson on all bank account with American State Bank.

16. Discuss and take action: Discuss and take action on approving Ordinance 20230117 for Annexation.

17. Council Items: Reports by the members of the City Council on matter not on the agenda will be made at this time.
