City of Joaquin Hosting Public Hearing on Jan. 19 for Comprehensive Plan for the City

January 15, 2021 - The City of Joaquin, Texas will hold a Public Hearing to review the performance under its Texas Community Development Program Contract #7218074 with the Office of Rural Affairs, Texas Department of Agriculture in which funds were used to develop a comprehensive plan for the city. The planning activities included mapping and text along with goals and objectives in the areas of housing, population, land use, economic development, street system, water system, wastewater system, storm drainage system, gas system, recreation and open space, zoning and subdivision regulations and capital improvements program. The documents are available for review at City Hall during normal business hours Monday through Friday.

The Public Hearing will be held as follows:
