City of Joaquin Notice of Meeting, March 15 Agenda

March 11, 2022 - The City Council of Joaquin will meet for a Regular Scheduled Council Meeting on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at 6pm at the Joaquin City Hall located at 124 N. Preston Street, Joaquin, Texas.

The following items are on the agenda for appropriate action:

Each speaker is limited to 3 minutes. A Citizen’s Input Form maybe filled out and filed with the City Secretary prior to the meeting.

6. Speakers: Seth Elmore from Fairchild, Price, Haley & Smith to speak to Council about being the City Attorney.

7. Discuss and take action: Discuss and take possible action on dismissing current City Attorney.

8. Discuss and take action: Discuss and take possible action on appointing Seth Elmore with Fairchild, Price, Haley & Smith as new city Attorney with same terms as before.

14. Discuss and take action: Discuss and consider approving contract labor to construct weatherproof cover for control valve at RO plant.

15. Discuss and take action: Discuss and take possible action on recognizing businesses in the community.

16. Discuss and take action: Discuss and take possible action on participating in TIPS Purchasing Cooperative.

17. Discuss and take action: Discuss and take possible action on Community Center Repairs.

18. Discuss and take action: Discuss and take possible action on purchasing chairs for Community Center.
