Commissioners' Court Regular Meeting for March

March 11, 2016 - Notice is hereby given that a Regular meeting of the Governing Body of the Shelby County Commissioners' Court will be held on the 14th day of March, 2016 at 9:30a.m. in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:

1. Approve the minutes of the February 9, 2016 Regular Meeting, and the February 23, 2016, Special Meeting of the Shelby County Commissioners' Court.

2. Approve and pay monthly expenses.

3. Approve Officers' Reports.

4. Public Comments on Agenda items.

5. Discuss and possible take action - Debora Riley, Tax Assessor-Collector, to address the Court for permission to move existing part time position to a full-time position.

6. Discuss and possibly take action on additional storage space needed for the Tax Office and the Motor Vehicle.

7. Approve Blanket bond for Tax Assessor's deputy clerks.

8. Deborah Riley, Tax Assessor-Collector, to inform the court of upcoming closure dates for training on motor vehicle and boats.

9. Discuss and possibly approve using Right-of-Way funds for trash pick-up.

10. Discuss and possibly take action on distribution of the Child Safety Fee Fund.

11. Discuss and possibly take action on renewal of subscription for LexisNexis law information for the 123rd District Court.

12. Accept the racial profiling report for Constable Precinct #4, Bryan Gray.

13. Recognize Sherry Riley, our Veterans' Affairs Officer, on her certificate of completion of 2015 training.

14. Approve the order authorizing San Jacinto Day and Memorial Day fireworks sales.

15. Discuss and possibly take action on amending Commissioner Precinct 4's Budget to purchase a new Case 965 4WD Grader.

16. Discuss and possibly approve the Lease Agreement between Shelby County and Tri-County Community Action.

17. Request advance on FEMA funds for Precinct 3 and amend budget line items.

18. Approve the purchase of 3 large culverts from Loop 500 Salvage, LLC for Commissioner Precinct 3.

19. Adjourn.
