March 9, 2018 - Back to Back Regional Champion Desere Cooper. Desere competed in the 2018 Regional Power Lifting Championships this past weekend in Fairfield, Texas.
Desere's totals were: Squat 400 lbs, Bench 190 lbs, and Deadlift 400 lbs totaling 990 lbs. Desere went into the final lift, which was the deadlift, in 5th place. On her final attempt she successfully lifted 400 lbs and clinched the Regional 2A Championship for the second year in a row.
