Dairy Queen Offering Old School Options Amid COVID-19 Circumstances

May 1, 2020 - The Dairy Queen in Center, Texas welcomes customers and thanks everyone for their continued support during the COVID-19 Pandemic. After much consideration, the dining area will remained closed at this time and will be reevaluated weekly. The safety of our staff and our customers is our main concern.

The old school customer service with the front walk-up windows in addition to the drive through are still available and we look forward to one day soon welcoming our customers back into our dining area. Until then, stay safe and stay healthy.


March 20, 2020 - The Dairy Queen in Center, Texas is still open for drive through and take-out orders from 9am until 9:30 all week. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, the dining area is closed to the public starting Saturday, March 21, 2020.

Owner Jan Allen, has gone old school with the Dairy Queen and has opened up the front walk-up windows in addition to the drive through. You may also call ahead to place your order which will help shorten your wait time in the parking lot. Employees will bring out your order if it is needed.

Allen wants to reassure the public the safety of its customers and staff is of the utmost importance to them. Employees will be tested for fevers before working and the building will be routinely sanitized above and beyond normal measure to prevent the spread of disease.

The CDC has issued guidelines for operating procedures to protect all of us. We do ask customers coming to the walk-up window to please respect social distancing (6 feet recommendation) if another customer is at the window. We are all in this together!
