March 10, 2016 - UPDATE: The William Carroll Crawford Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas will NOT be meeting Saturday. The meeting and flag ceremony will be rescheduled to a later date.
The William Carroll Crawford Chapter of the Daughters of Republic of Texas will meet Saturday, March 12, at 10:00 AM at the Historic Courthouse on the Square. Following the business meeting, at around 11:00, the Chapter will hold a Flag Ceremony and a Texas Honor Days observation. The JJE Gibson Children of the Republic of Texas Chapter and the Gateway to Texas Sons of the Republic of Texas Chapter will assist in the program. Weather permitting, the program will be held outside near the flagpoles. If weather is bad, it will be held inside the Courthouse. The public is invited to join us at 11:00 AM and help celebrate Texas History Month. Refreshments will be served in the DRT's First Ladies in Texas Building. Hope to see you there.
