September 6, 2016 - The William Carroll Crawford Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas will meet Saturday, September 10, at noon at the Sam Samford Lodge in Center. The chapter will hold a welcoming ceremony for their newest member, Vickie Sample Martin and a Republic of Texas Citizen Medallion ceremony honoring Richard Biggar. Plans for the 2016-2017 year will be discussed, as will the upcoming Pinecone and Mistletoe Christmas Market. Chapter officers will meet at 10:45 for an officers meeting and will be hostesses for the luncheon. Chapter members and guests are encouraged to attend. For more information call Maggie at 248-3361.
