October 8, 2019 - Deep East Texas Council of Governments will hold its regular monthly Board of Directors meeting Thursday, October 24, 2019. The meeting will be held at the Iris and Annie Howard Civic Center in Newton. A Luncheon will be served at noon, and the Board meeting will be held immediately thereafter.
Welcoming members and guests to Newton will be City of Newton Mayor Mark Bean and Newton County Judge Kenneth Weeks. Also greeting members will be Newton County Commissioners William (Bill) Fuller, Wesley (Gene) Thompson, Gary (Tick) Fomby and Phillip White, who is also the Newton County Minority Representative.
