DETEC and contract crews will continue to work until all power is restored. If you have medical needs that require electricity, it is recommended that you secure alternative shelter with power.
As of 4pm, May 27, 2016 Deep East Texas Electric Cooperative is reporting approximately 11,200 meters without power following last night’s storm and today’s continued weather occurrences.

DETEC and contract crews will continue to work through the afternoon and night until all power is restored. It is expected that restoration will continue into tomorrow (Saturday).
