Center Lion’s Club Ballpark on Monday, July 12, 2021 –
Center is currently hosting and participating in their final Dixie state tournament of the 2021 season. Play will continue throughout the rest of today for Texas boy’s teams ages from 9-11 years old.
Yesterday the Center boys 11U team was narrowly eliminated when they fell to the Hallsville team in the semifinal round by a 9-8 run final score. Center fought back late after trailing 6-1 in the third inning.
Yesterday afternoon the 9U Center team moved on to play today (Monday) at 10 a.m. after defeating Livingston by a 13-3 score. Livingston led 2-1 in the bottom of the first inning but Center took a 3-2 lead in the third frame and steadily added to this lead throughout the contest.
