May 8, 2018 - Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers investigated Monday morning, May 7, 2018 a two vehicle fatality crash at the intersection of SH 21 and Loop 34.
The preliminary crash investigation indicates at approximately 7:20 a.m., a 1994 Nissan passenger car was traveling east on SH 21. A 2014 GMC SUV was traveling west on SH 21 and crossed the eastbound lane and struck the Nissan head-on. Initial reports indicate the GMC was attempting to travel onto Loop 34.
The driver of the GMC is identified as Courtney Bush, 27, from Center, TX. Bush and a three year old passenger were transported to Nacogdoches Medical Center in Nacogdoches for treatment.
The driver of the Nissan is identified as Thomas Williams III, 45, from San Augustine, TX. Williams and a thirteen year old passenger were both pronounced deceased at the scene by a Nacogdoches County Justice of the Peace.
This crash remains under investigation. No additional information is available at this time.
