March 6, 2023 - The William Carroll Crawford Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas will meet this Saturday, March 11th at 10am at the Sam Samford Lodge in Center. There will be a short program on "March: Texas History Month."
The newest members of the JJE Gibson Chapter of the Children of the Republic of Texas will be welcomed, plans and needs for the upcoming State Convention of the Children of the Republic of Texas will be discussed and a report on "what's happenin' " at the state level will be shared. At 1:00 the Gateway to Texas Chapter of the Sons of the Republic of Texas will have a memorial medallion marking for W.B. "Buddy" Harrison a longtime SRT member, at the Corley Harrison Cemetery near Tenaha. Directions to the cemetery will be provided at the meeting.
