March 12, 2021 - The William Carroll Crawford Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas will meet this Saturday, March 13, at 10am at the Sam Samford Lodge in Center.
As a partial return to normalcy, hostesses will furnish our lunch. We are asking to continue masks and social distancing. The program will be on March: Texas History Month.
The Gateway to Texas Chapter of the Sons of the Republic of Texas will join us for opening ceremonies and the program, then have their business meeting while the DRT conducts their business.
Following the meeting, weather permitting, some of the Samford descendants and others who are interested will go to the Forbis Cemetery where some of the Samford ancestors are buried. If you have any questions, call Maggie at 248-3361. Hope to see you Saturday.
