East Texas Chamber Winds Summer 2022 Concert

May 10, 2022 - All are invited to a FREE live music event hosted by the East Texas Chamber Winds (ETCW) on Saturday, June 18th at 6:00pm at Millard's Crossing Historic Village in Nacogdoches, TX. Music for the evening will include selections from Dvorak, Rossini, and a brand new arrangement of Debussy for winds by Jack Hontz (who will be in attendance). Light refreshments will be provided. In addition, the ETCW are continuing their relationship with Naca Valley Vineyards who will provide a cash bar at the event. Admission is free. All ages are welcome.

The ETCW (was founded and) is directed by San Augustine native, Roy McLerran, who is currently earning his Doctorate of Musical Arts (DMA) at the University of Miami in Florida. The ensemble's premiere concert took place in San Augustine, TX at the First United Methodist Church in the summer of 2016. Members of the ETCW are all either current music majors or recent graduates of the Stephen F. Austin State University School of Music in Nacogdoches, TX.
