East Texas Food Bank Forms Partnership with TCCA, Tyson Foods to Add Additional Produce Drop

East Texas Food Bank “Feeding the Hungry” forms partnership between Tri-County Community Action’s “Harvest for Home Food Pantry” and Tyson Foods, Inc. in providing an additional Produce Drop in the Center, Texas area.

September 9, 2020 - The East Texas Food Bank has made it possible for Tri-County Community Action Agency, Inc. (TCCA, Inc.) and Tyson Foods to come together in a partnership with providing additional produce to individuals and families within our community. This has been made possible by being able to provide 2 produce drops each 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month beginning Wednesday, September 9, 2020 until further notice.

Tri-County will continue to also have our regular produce drop on the 4th Wednesday of each month (September 23). The process and procedures will remain the same as far as disbursement of food and sign-in. Anyone is able to receive produce and food items. We will be located in the parking lot of the Wolf Plaza on the furthest end opposite of Ivan Smith Furniture (Where Sombrero’s used to be). Please meet us there on September 9, 2020. The truck arrives around 9:00-9:30 a.m.
