August 28, 2015 - The 39th East Texas Poultry Festival, presented by Farmers State Bank, is fast approaching. The Poultry Festival is slated for October 1, 2 and 3 and the Entertainment Committee chairs, Danny Paul and Sally Windham, are seeking volunteer talented artist to perform on the Frances Oates Stage, sponsored by Specter, Inc. Beginning at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 1 will be “Big Tent Open Mic” open to anyone that wishes to share their talent.
Friday, October 2 is “Gospel Night” beginning at 5:30 p.m. All church choirs, praise teams, praise bands, youth choirs and individuals are welcome and Saturday, October 3 between the hours of 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. music to feature soloist and local bands.
