East Texas Poultry Festival Pageant Queen's Court Welcome Party

September 9, 2015 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce held a Welcome Party to introduce and welcome the 2015 East Texas Poultry Festival Queen’s Court. Reigning Queen, Zoey Stuever, spoke to the young ladies summarizing her experience of 2014 and gave them some insight as to what to expect. Each candidate introduced themselves, their Escort and their parent prior to enjoying dinner together catered by Sombreros Mexican Grill.

The upcoming schedule and pageant rules and guidelines were reviewed. The Queen’s Court program has a month long schedule of events including a Luau and a Social as part of the enrichment program for the candidates and their escorts prior to the scholarship pageant. There are representatives from, Shelbyville High School, Center Christian Academy and Center High School in the 2015 Court.

The Coronation, presented by Shelby Saving Bank, will be held Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the Center High School Cafetorium when the Queen candidates will be presented to Shelby County. The Queen’s Court committee led by Chairman Caroline Hutchins, includes, Kerri Wiggins, Shanell Ruiz, Kay Fairchild and Jesse Wiggins.
