March 30, 2017 - The ETMC Carthage Auxiliary awarded $300 scholarships to six Panola College nursing students on Monday, March 27. Recipients include Holly Royer of Timpson, Meagan Tillman of Beckville, Erin Anderson of Carthage, Jessica Montoya of Timpson, Shay Mullins of Elysian Fields, and Jessica Smith of Longview.
The ETMC Carthage Auxiliary comprises volunteers from the community who provide support services for staff and patients at the hospital. The Auxiliary members also coordinate fundraising activities to support nursing scholarships for Panola College students. Two of the most popular fundraisers are the jewelry and accessories sales held twice each year. The spring sale is scheduled for Thursday and Friday, March 30-31 in the foyer of ETMC Hospital. Every item is $5.
