April 12, 2017 - The Alcohol & Drug Abuse Council's YPS Program, partnered with Excelsior ISD, to celebrate Texas Tobacco Free Kid's Day by having a contest. Each class submitted either coloring sheets with our beloved mascot, Leo the Drug Free Lion, submitted a 1 page essay, or signed the school banner. The coloring sheet stated "Leo the Lion says it's a jungle out there - Say no to Tobacco"!.

There was a winner chosen for each class that participated with a back sack full of surprises awarded.

Texas Tobacco Free Kid's Day is observed every March to encourage students of all ages to live tobacco-free lifestyles.
