April 17, 2026 - Students from Excelsior School recently achieved outstanding success at the state competition last February, bringing home multiple honors and earning the opportunity to compete at the national level this summer in Nashville, Tennessee.
Among the state winners were:
- 4th Place – 2D Design as club
- 4th Place – Club Trading Pin as club
- 2nd Place – Living Literature
- 4th Place – Portfolio: Khloe Kunkel, Nacole Kunkel, and Lyla Snider
- 4th Place – Mixed Media: Lyla Snider
- 3rd Place – Sculpture: Kynlee Adkinson
These students will now travel to Nashville, Tennessee this summer to represent their school and community at the national competition.
To help cover travel expenses, Excelsior School is currently selling raffle tickets. Prizes include:
- $500 Gas Card
- $50 Brookshire Brothers Gift Card
- Stanley Cup
