October 24, 2024 - The final day of the Fannie Brown Booth Friends of the Library Fall Book Sale is Saturday, October 26, 2024.
Saturday will be "Fill Two Bags for $1.00 Day". Fill two plastic bags (Walmart size) with as many books as possible; it will only cost you $1.00. We still have hundreds of books of all kinds for sale. The sale hours on Saturday will be from 10am until 2pm.
October 15, 2024 - The Friends of the Fannie Brown Booth (FBB) Library will be holding their Fall Book Sale, October 22-26, 2024 during regular library hours. Due to the upcoming renovation, we have been deleting a large number of books from our circulation. There are a multitude of children's books, novels, non-fiction, cookbooks, all genres, for sale.
In addition, we have the entire collection of cookbooks of Center lawyer and gourmet, John Griffin. Mr. Griffin collected many cookbooks during his travels and we have a huge selection of his cookbooks of all kinds at a very special price.
Also, the family of Lucille Truitt donated additional books in honor of Mrs. Truitt, Fannie Brown Booth Library Director, 1969-1983.

There will be no Preschool Story Time or Adult Crafternoons sessions during the weeks of October 14-19 and 21-26 due to the book sale.
Programs will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2024. The library will be closed the months of November and December for renovation. So come to the book sale and stock up!
