March 8, 2016 - Center Broadcasting Company will be hosting a farewell reception for Mr. Billy Clyde Duncan, your 20-year host of “Taste of Heaven.” The reception will be at the CBC office 307 San Augustine Street in Center, from 2-4pm on Thursday, March 10th. KDET listeners and friends are invited to attend and bid farewell to Billy Clyde Duncan. Refreshments will be served.

Billy Clyde Duncan, your Saturday host of Taste of Heaven, is retiring from KDET 930 AM, to move closer to his family. Duncan would like to say thank you to his many listeners, for making his 20 year Taste of Heaven Gospel show such a success. He leaves his many listeners and friends at Center Broadcasting, with much gratitude and appreciation.
Administrator Lori Alvis says “Mr. Billy Clyde is a very special person. He and his wife Virginia started Taste of Heaven back in February of 1996. Everyone will miss him and his wonderful gospel music. We wish him many blessings and good times with his family.”
