June 22, 2022 - Nacogdoches, Angelina, Trinity, San Augustine-Shelby Farm Service Agency will conduct public meetings to discuss the County Committee election / nomination process and other FSA assistance programs. County Executive Director, Lance Jacobs, will be available at the following meetings:
- The Shelby County (LAA 6, the area south of FM 138 and west of Highway 87 to Shelbyville and west of Highway 147) meeting will be held Monday, June 27, 2022, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Shelby Savings Bank, located at 111 Selma Street, Center, Texas 75935.
- The San Augustine County (LAA 9, the area north of Highway 103 and west of Highway 96 North) meeting will be held Monday, June 27, 2022, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the Texas A&M Forest Service, located at 873 Highway 147 South, San Augustine, Texas 75972.
- The Angelina County (LAA 4, all of Angelina County excluding the area between Highway 103 West, Loop 287, and Highway 59 South) meeting will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2022, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service – Angelina County, located at 2201 South Medford Drive, Lufkin, Texas 75901.
- The Nacogdoches County (LAA 1, the area north of Highway 21 and west of Highway 259) meeting will be held Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Beck Building, located at 720 7th Street, Cushing, Texas 75760.
Producers, including minority, women, and new farmers are encouraged to attend the meetings and participate in the 2022 election.
