Fillies Fall Short Against TVCC

January 11, 2015 - Despite Laura Chavez putting up twelve points, Panola College lost to Trinity Valley Community College 76-57.

Fillies had a strong first half, scoring a game-high 22 points during the second quarter. Chavez led the charge for Panola College's offense, scoring twelve points, with seven points during the third period.

Teanna Frances Henderson was the Fillies second leading scorer with 9 points while J'Lene Martinez added in (7 points). Also contributing were Raemeisha Claxton (6 points, 8 rebounds) and Genesis Rivera (6 points). Fillies R'Trevia Randolph (5 points), Kia Fisker five points and was the leading re-bounder with nine. Amanda Cruz with (3 points) and Charlynn Perry & Kabreshia Orange with (2 points apiece).

Fillies look to take action again Monday, January 11th at 5:30 PM at Arthur Johnson Gym as they look to face Angelina College.
