February 1, 2016 - In a great showing, Genesis Rivera scored 15 points, but this was not enough as Panola College fell to San Jacinto College 80-75. San Jacinto College clinched the game in the second period on a two-pointer and never looked back.
Rivera scored the most for Fillies during the fourth period with nine points and second was Fisker with six points.
Laura Chavez added 13 points, Amanda Cruz was also in double digit scoring with 12 points and Kia Fisker with 10 points. J'Lene Martinez (9 points) contributed multiple three-pointers going 3-of-4 from behind the arc.
Also chipping in for Panola College were Raemeisha Claxton (7 points), R'Trevia Randolph, Teanna Frances Henderson and Charlynn Perry all three points apiece.
The Fillies will be at home again Wednesday, February 3rd as they look to take on Bossier Parish Community College. Tip off is set for 5:30 pm in the Arthur Johnson Gymnasium.
