Fillies Take Down Cedar Valley on the Road

September 18, 2019 - With an aggressive offense and united defense, the Panola College Fillies defeated Cedar Valley Tuesday night in Lancaster in three sets (25-15, 25-7, 25-14).

The Fillies offense was led by Sophomore Mikayla Ware with 11 kills, followed by Mylena Testoni with seven, while Riley Seegers and Nyah Walker chipped in six apiece, respectively. Maria Idjilov had 36 assists, while contributing three service aces. Freshman Erin Perez led the defense with 11 digs, followed by Mckenzie Dimery and Ware with 10 apiece. At the net, April Brown put up three block assists and Nyah Walker followed with two of her own. 

The Fillies improve to 9-3 on the season and return to action at home Wednesday, September 18th against Brookhaven at 6:00 PM. Please come out to the Fillies home opener and show your support! GO FILLIES!
