March 21, 2018 - Officials with the National Forests and Grasslands in Texas, Sabine National Forest, have advised a prescribed burn today (March 21, 2018) located in Compartments 18 & 19, 2902 acres (Block A, B,C & D) in Shelby County. This area is located near Boles Field Recreation Area off of Farm Market Highways 2694 & 3471 and New Harmony community.
Winds will be North @ 5 mph gusting to 7 mph.
Ignition time of 10:00 and completion estimated at 17:30 with helicopter assistant.
