February 15, 2016 - First Vice-President Linda Anderson called the Golden Harvest Ministries Club to order with 30 members and 2 guests attending the February 15 meeting. Harold Hanson led the singing of two favorites and Happy Birthday to Harold Warr, Odessa Link, and Betty Merony who was celebrating her birthday that day. February anniversary greetings went to members Naomi and Harold Hanson, Leigh Porterfield, and guest Brandi Emanis.
Program Chairman Linda Anderson introduced Sherry Harding, executive director of Shelby County Outreach Ministries, and Brandi Emanis, director of the senior food program, who explained the wide variety of services provided by SCOM.
The Golden Harvest Ministries Club meets at 11:30 a.m. on the 3rd Monday of each month in the Fellowship Hall of First Baptist Church in Center, Texas. Visitors are welcome to bring a covered-dish and enjoy the program and fellowship.
