Harding Reports on TVAS/TVFD; Donations Sought for Funeral Expenses

Timpson Volunteer Ambulance/Fire Department Service as reported by Roger Harding

November 8, 2016 - This last week has been one of the busiest weeks for TVAS and TVFD that I have seen in a while. Within four days we had three incidents requiring Flight for Life and Life Air services. The valiant effort of the rescuers fighting to extricate and attend to the patient's critical care needs was completed with skill and proficiency.

It always takes a toll on the EMT's and Firefighters to see such carnage in the aftermath of a motor vehicle crash, and the loss of life for the ones they try to save in an accident or any medical emergency. All these events put a heavy burden on all.

A debt of gratitude goes out to all of TVAS and TVFD for their efforts, including the medical teams on the helicopters. I pray that all will keep the volunteers and medical teams in your prayers.

Please check with your local business for a donation jar for the funeral expenses for the young father and husband, Devin Roberts, who lost his life Sunday leaving behind a wife, Rachel, and a two-year-old child. Also contact Jamie Beasley at 281-309-2890 or Roger Harding at 936-254-4337, we will make sure the family is given anything that is donated. Thank you for remembering this and all families who have lost loved ones.

Donations can be placed in an account that has been set up at Austin Bank in Timpson under the name of Jamie Beasley.
