Meetings are the first Monday of every month starting at 6 p.m. at the Shelby County Extension Office Gym located at 266 Nacogdoches Street in Center.

Each meeting revolves around a theme. The very first meeting’s theme was Game Night. Members played various games for prizes. The theme for the November 4th meeting is Gun Safety. If you plan to attend this meeting, bring your Nerf Gun for games after the meeting. Themes for some of the meetings later in the year include: Christmas Party, Movie night, Public Servant’s Appreciation, Family Fun Night and more.

Scholarship Opportunities…

Shelby County 4-H will be providing up to a $1,000 scholarship for continued education past high school, whether it be college or trade school. The annual winner will be selected on an earned point system for project and club meeting participation, community service, leadership and more.
