May 1, 2018 - Jay-Jay the Clown will be the entertainer during the 40th annual Center Broadcasting/Shelby County Bass Angler’s Take a Kid Fishing Bream Tournament, set for Saturday, May 12 at Huxley Bay Marina on Toledo Bend Reservoir.
Jay-Jay’s appearance is being made possible by Badders Law Firm of Nacogdoches & Lufkin.
According to information received from the website, Gig Salad, Jay-Jay has been entertaining children for decades! From musical theater as a child, to clown class (yes...there is actually a college course) in college, to professional rodeo clown as a 20-something (and survived!), to Santa of the South...and now...Jay-Jay the Clown AND Jay-Jay's Comedy Garage!
Children at the fishing tourney will enjoy an interactive performance with lots of laughs, a little magic, and memories for everyone! Comedy, Balloons, Magic, and an occasional appearance from The Maximus Ultimus Flea Circuses!
Jay-Jay will begin entertaining children as soon as the weigh-in line opens at 10:30 a.m., until the tournament activities conclude.
Tournament director, Lori Alvis of Center Broadcasting, says safety has always been a concern of tournament organizers, and having Jay-Jay will help keep children entertained and with the help of parents, safe around the water.
