The Tigers were retired in 1-2-3 order in the first, second, third, fifth and sixth innings.

Justin Hooper led off the third inning for Joaquin with an infield hit. Brock Lawson soon followed Hooper with a double. Harper added his second hit of the game with an RBI single which scored Lawson for the game's first score. A Tanner Williams double later in the third frame gave JHS a 4-0 advantage. Williams later scored on a Tiger error and JHS led 5-0  at the end of the frame.

Brock Lawson started off the fourth inning with an infield hit. Later Kase Yates scored Lawson with a long double. Williams doubled later in the inning to score Yates, and Nate Belrose who had walked. The fourth stanza ended with Joaquin leading 8-0.

Klay Adkison reached base to start the bottom of the fifth frame by being hit by a pitch. He later scored on a fielder's choice, on a ground ball hit by Hooper. This gave JHS a 9-0 lead.

In the sixth inning Joaquin loaded the bases when  Belrose and Williams singled, and Adkison walked. Tray Wilkerson drove home the winning run with a single which gave the Rams the 10-0 leaded needed to end the game by 'Mercy-Rule.'

This was Tenahas' final game of the 2016 season. Joaquin will soon announce their bi-district opponent for next week.
