December 2, 2020 - The Joaquin Christmas Festival will take place Saturday, December 5. Arts and Crafts and food vendors will be set up around 9:00 a.m.
The first 50 children will get free stockings filled with a variety of goodies as a gift from East Texas Chopper Guys. The park will be set up with free entertainment and games for the kids all day.
There will be a car show and motorcycle show. Adams Ford in Logansport is sponsoring the car show and promises a few surprises for visitors.
There will be a parade around noon, a gingerbread house decorating contest, a cake walk to benefit Joaquin Community Services, and the 14th annual toy run sponsored by East Texas Chopper Guys.
There will be a raffle of a host of items and an auction as well.
All this leads up to the lighting of the Christmas Tree in the town square around 5:30.
We hope all who can come out on Saturday will have a great time and enjoy the season of Christmas with friends and family.
