April 30, 2025 - Joaquin ISD will be participating in the following Federal Programs during the 2025-2026 school year: Title I-Part A, Title I-Part C Migrant, Title II-Part A, Title III-Part A- LEP, Title IV, Part A, Carl D. Perkins – Title I, Part C and IDEA-B.
Teachers, Paraprofessionals, Principals, Other School Personnel, Parents, Community Members and Business Representatives are invited to attend the 2025-2026 ESSA Consolidated Application meeting on Monday, May 19, 2025 at 5:30p.m. -- JISD Administration Building Board Room.
The focus of this meeting will be planning the 2025-2026 program activities and receiving input for the preparation of the application for funding. A key focus will be the coordination and integration of these funding sources and programs into the education system of Joaquin ISD.
A draft of the Title I, Part A -Parental Involvement Policy and School/Parent Compact/Pledge will be presented during the meeting for input to ensure our Parental Involvement in JISD is exemplary.
Private schools (including home schools) have an opportunity to participate in the 2025-2026 federally funded programs conducted by Joaquin ISD. If your school or facility is interested in participating in any of the above programs, please contact Terri Gray, State and Federal Programs Director, at 269-3128 ext. 422, or Kathy Carrington, Special Education Director, at 269-3128 ext. 237, by June 27, 2025. Any schools receiving these services must comply with federal program requirements.
