November 22, 2016 - On behalf of Joaquin Lodge 856, we would like to thank everyone who supported our recent fundraiser which benefited the Mike Wood Memorial Scholarship fund. Congratulations go to Mr. Gary McDonald who was the winner of the Big Green Egg grill.
The drawing was held during halftime of the Joaquin vs San Augustine football game. McDonald received his prize on Wednesday, November 16, 2016.
Everyone's generous donations raised a total of $2,145.
Also, thank you to everyone who attended and purchased plates at the November 8th BBQ chicken plate fundraiser. Without the support of the community, the lodge would not be able to contribute back to the community. The Lodge meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month and the next meeting is tonight at 6:30pm with meal and then meeting at 7:30pm. The lodge is located under the water tower or the northeast corner of the square.
