October 22, 2019 - The Joaquin Varsity Cross Country team advances to Regionals. On Wednesday, October 16th the Joaquin Cross Country team competed at the District 22AA Cross Country Meet.
The team of Madison Baker, Molleigh Fults, JJ Bass, Lauren Garrett, Cheyenne Pilling, Kensleah Loftin, and Riley Sherrod placed 3rd overall as a team to advance to the Regional level.
This is the first time in 21 years that a cross country team has advanced from Joaquin. Congratulations to these girls for all their hard work. The regional cross country meet will be held on Monday, October 28th at Kate Barr Ross Park in Huntsville.
The Junior Varsity team of Ebbie McCann, Chrislyn Pena, Chloee Mason, Renee Brostowski, Kaylea Neal, Mariel Luna, and Sarah Fisher placed 2nd.
