Updated April 15, 2019 - The Joaquin Spring Fling has been rescheduled to April 20th from 1 to 3pm on the square in downtown Joaquin.
- 1pm - Free pictures with the Easter Bunny and Face painting.
Drawing for chocolate bunnies... get your free ticket on site. - 1:30pm - Bonnet contest on site... bonnets must be turned in by 1:30pm.
- 2pm - Bonnet Winners announced for Best Traditional and Most Creative.
- 2pm - Egg Hunt will begin. There will be 800 eggs hidden. All we need is the children (ages walking to 12 years old) to come find them.
Food and craft booths on site!!! Come join the fun!
April 12, 2019 (Event Rained Out)- Joaquin is hosting a Community Spring Fling and Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 13th in downtown Joaquin.
The Spring Fling will kick-off at 11am with free pictures with the Easter Bunny till 1pm.
At 12 noon there will be an Easter Bonnet Contest. Bring your bonnets and let's have some fun! Must be registered by 12 noon on sight. Winners will be announced before the egg hunt. Easter Bonnet Contest has two categories - Best in Traditional and Most Immagination/Craziest. Prizes will include skin care products by Avon donated by Pat Gray and Mary Kay. Please wear your bonnet during the event until time for judging.
An Easter Egg Hunter will begin at 1pm for ages walking (must be able to walk) and up to 12 years old. First 15 babies not able to hunt will receive a stuffed bunny.
Community churches will have food and craft vendors. Come enjoy games with prizes, bounce house, and face painting.
