This Summit will follow the principles of Active Learning to:
- Provide information in a way that is enjoyable and appealing to male and female teens.
- Provide youth with accurate information and increase understanding of HIV/AIDS and STD's to promote abstinence, reduce risky behaviors, enhance skills (condom use, communication, negotiation), and improve their capacity to form and maintain healthy relationships.
- Encourage youth to become teen educators with the ability to pass prevention messages to peers in their schools and communities.
