Kite Day at Mansfield State Historic Site

April 25, 2016 - In recognition of National Kite Month, Mansfield State Historic Site will host a Kite Day on Saturday, April 30 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. The flying of kites has been a great recreational activity in the United States for over 200 years, so take time to come out to the park and enjoy this great activity! Bring your own kite which you made or bought and come enjoy the open space we have to offer. Check out the National Kite Month website for ideas for your kite at www.NationalKiteMonth.org! Four kites will be given away for free to the first four children willing to use them at the site.

Admission is free for anyone who brings a kite to fly (limited to one guardian per child with kite). General admission is $4 per person; children 12 and under and seniors 62 and over are admitted free. Mansfield State Historic Site is located on State Highway 175, three miles south of Mansfield.
