East Texas Extended Care is pleased to announce a change in ownership. As of March 1, 2015, our clinics will be under the direction of Dr. Mark Mettauer. Dr. Mettauer is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bill Mettauer. He is a 1989 graduate of Center High School. He and his wife Marissa and their 3 children currently reside in The Woodlands, Texas. Dr. Mettauer is currently affiliated with several hospitals in the northwestern Houston area where he continues to practice cardiovascular and thoracic surgery for the past 11 years. We at East Texas Extended Care will continue to provide quality healthcare for rural East Texas in our 4 current locations.

He would like to thank the patients for allowing him the privilege of taking part in their healthcare needs. If you wish for your medical records to be transferred to another provider, we can do that upon receipt of a signed medical release form. We have made arrangements for the continuation of care for our current patients.
