Library News: Cards, Bestsellers, Ebooks

April 16, 2021 - During the pandemic Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library staff is keeping the library open to provide important services during this challenging time. Except for the mandatory lockdown period, the library has remained open to patrons to check out books, conduct research and use computers. Library staff Sandra Davis, Shawn Lowater and Cassey Neal are dedicated to serving patrons with their library needs. One patron recently complimented the staff by saying that he had been in several area libraries recently and complimented the staff for being especially helpful and friendly.

A library card is free and may be used to check out books at no charge. There is a lifetime replacement fee of three dollars for future lost cards due at the time card is issued.

Recent hardback bestsellers are available for checkout. The library receives these bestsellers through Baker & Taylor Lease and is sponsored by Farmers State Bank.

Electronic books may also be downloaded on your computer or other devices by downloading a free app from the App Store. The app is titled Libby. To download book you will need the following information: library card number, name of library which is Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library , the PIN number is your last name.
