January 20, 2016 - Venture down the Rabbit Hole with the Panola College Foundation and their Premier Event Sponsor, Corgan Associates, Inc., to a Wonderland evening of fun and fantasy. Panola College Foundation invites you to their 2nd annual gala, a Mad Hatter Tea Party, at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2016 in the Frances B. Ross Ballroom at Panola College.The gala is a key fundraiser to assist the Panola College Foundation in providing student scholarships, faculty and staff grants and other educational projects.
The Panola College Foundation raises money each year to provide support for many students who need financial assistance to pursue their career goals. Whether through equipment donations, capital construction, educational projects, or student scholarships, the Foundation works to ensure donors that their contributions towards the Foundation are good investments.
Guests at the Mad Hatter Tea Party are encouraged to put on their best dress with their fanciest hat (or in themed costume) and enjoy an evening of entertainment while raising money for the Panola College Foundation. The highlights of Wonderland will include live entertainment by jazz band, Swinghouse, and our ever popular casino games with raffle and door prizes. A sneak peek at the raffle prizes include a $200 VISA gift card, a YETI Roadie Cooler and more exciting items.
There will also be a silent auction that has received some great donations already, such as a $500 gift card to Kiepersol Estates, 4 tickets to a Dallas Mavericks game, autographed memorabilia from the Texas Rangers, dinner and a night stay donated by Margaritaville Resort Casino, and a night at the House of Seasons Bed and Breakfast in Jefferson just to name a few. Heavy hor d'oeuvres will be served and a caricature artist will be on hand to create one of a kind memories from your trip down the rabbit hole and lots more whimsical excitement. Plus, enjoy photo opportunities with characters from Alice in Wonderland taken by photographer, Somer Page of Somer Page Studios.
